Systems for wooden windows and doors

Esperia GT 80

Esperia GT 80-92

In this system, the acronym GT stands for “frame gaskets” and is a solution for wooden windows and doors and on which TWT has developed many of its projects. Thanks to the very thin sash sections and the fact that the gaskets are positioned on the frame, Esperia GT guarantees record-breaking performance in terms of water-tightness, resistance to wind load and air permeability.

Analysing the isotherms of this system we can see the very high performance of the thermal transmittance factor. An Esperia GT 80 mm fir wood window provides profile transmittance Uf equal to 1.1 W /m2K. Thanks also to the possibility of housing double glazing panels of adequate thickness, it is possible to reach very low overall thermal transmittance Uw values.

With the Esperia GT 80-92 you can count on even greater performance:

  1. given the increased thickness of the sashes on the outside, and
  2. the possibility of installing a double glaze panel up to 56 mm thick, reaching Ug values of up to 0.5 W/m2

The design of Esperia GT focuses on the penetration of natural light, paying the right attention to the customer’s environmental comfort while using substantial nominal sections.

In addition, there are the great advantages offered by TWT tools: greater productivity through chip thickness control, increased cutting speed and feeds; higher quality of finish and lower running costs and spare parts. Moreover, the versatility of the tools makes it possible to produce sashes of different shapes by replacing only the inserts, even “on board the machine”.
