This approach is clearly visible in the new cutting geometries presented at the latest edition of Ligna in Hannover in May, together with the promise – that has sparked the curiosity of many – made at the same Fair of the launching in 2020 of a new tool concept for the wooden door and window market that the president of the Trentino company, Mr. Filippo Pellitteri, has defined as revolutionary!
The multi-disciplinary outlook of the large building construction market to which we refer remains complex, however, and involves the trends linked to the finished product in the specific sector of doors and windows as well as in that of panels and of the products and materials involved that lead to an increasingly wide range when one also includes composite materials.
Obviously, if one thinks of these cutters as the heart that outfits the machines, the picture becomes even more complicated and reaches out even to suction mouths, thereby demonstrating that today a tool maker is not just a product supplier but a partner for his clients that he knows well and whose problems he shares.
And when we imagine the production of a window as it is accomplished and the level of refinement achieved by the final artefact, we realise that the figures involved in its design and production are truly many, while the complex production chain has become shorter thanks to the digital language that can help an architect communicate with a work station operator.
The projects for the recovery of our wonderful architectural heritage can be carried out more quickly thanks to this evolution and, when conducted by competent and interacting work groups, they can contemporarily meet the aesthetic requirements relating to the reproduction of the design of the original windows and external doors, and the technical requirements related to the digitization of the industrial production processes.
This means that the tools too can interact with the production chain thanks to their being outfitted with whole sets of information.
Naturally, the challenge taken up by the door and window installers is entirely deployed on the grounds of the most evolved and innovative technology offered by the industry and by the digital world that brings together traditionally far-separated figures, as well as by the creativity that our country abounds in!
