Laser.HS

We have developed the Laser.HS wooden window tools system to combine high cutting speed, dimensional stability and simpler, more efficient tool management over time

As production rates increase, speed and precision must go hand in hand.

From the patented clamping system to the self-positioning of inserts, from the modular design to the SlimFix solution for standard machining operations: every detail of the Laser.HS is designed to speed up day-to-day operations and keep maintenance costs under control.

High cutting speed, under control

Laser.HS is designed to operate at high cutting speeds, up to 100 m/s.

The patented mechanical coupling counteracts centrifugal force, whilst the

internal geometries and the anchoring system – also patent-protected – have been developed to ensure effective fastening even under the most demanding working conditions.

The result is a technology designed for those who wish to boost the performance of their wooden window tools without compromising on the system’s control and reliability.

Axial and radial self-positioning: consistent precision

In window and door manufacturing, replacing or resharpening an insert should not mean having to re-establish the correct machining operations every time.

This is why Laser.HS incorporates an axial and radial self-positioning system.

A reference pin determines the height positioning, whilst a dedicated system sets the position on the diameter. Furthermore, after sharpening, re-profiling allows the original diameter to be restored.

In this way, machining dimensions remain constant, just as with a new tool, simplifying tool management and ensuring continuity and precision in machining operations.

Simpler maintenance, easier-to-control costs

An efficient tool must not only perform well during cutting. It must also be easy to manage when it comes to maintenance.

Laser.HS allows the knife to be removed radially without removing the locking wedge or screw, reducing the number of steps required to access the insert.

The 2.6 mm insert also offers ample stock for subsequent sharpening.

Two practical solutions that extend the component’s service life and make the maintenance of tools for wooden windows more efficient.

Modular design: work only where necessary

Laser.HS features a modular design comprising individual, separate components.

This means you can access the various components of the system directly and, when necessary, carry out targeted maintenance on the relevant element without unnecessarily affecting the rest of the tool.

A design choice that simplifies maintenance operations and helps to reduce maintenance time and costs.

The HSK cones are also made of stainless steel: the absence of oxidation helps to preserve the connection between the tool and the electric spindle over time.

SlimFix: lower costs for standard machining operations

Not all machining operations require a profiled knife.

For straight edges and profiles, Laser.HS incorporates the patented SlimFix system, based on a reversible mini-knife.

The cost saving is significant: a standard insert can cost up to four times less than a profiled knife.

In repetitive and mass-production machining operations, the ability to use the insert best suited to the actual cutting requirement therefore allows for a significant reduction in the cost per metre machined.

A simple yet effective solution for using tools for wood windows more efficiently.

Easier-to-manage spare parts

Reordering inserts can also be made quicker.

Thanks to the QR Code associated with the tool, Laser.HS simplifies the identification and reordering of spare parts, reducing the number of steps required and making insert management more straightforward.

Less time spent searching for the correct component means more organised and efficient spare parts management.

Wooden window tools designed with the entire service life in mind

A tool’s performance isn’t measured solely by how it cuts into the wood.

What matters is the speed at which it works.
What matters is the precision it maintains.

But the time taken to replace an insert, the number of sharpening cycles it can withstand, ease of maintenance and the overall cost of machining also matter.

Laser.HS stems from this vision: high speed, precision and quick maintenance, combined in a patented technology designed to keep costs under control over time.
