The TWT Style IV80 Wood system is the result of a technical, production and market study carried out by our subsidiary in Germany, conducted together with TWT Engineering, based on all its experience and expertise in managing R&D processes in the field of wooden window and door systems.

This system, therefore, is the result of over 40 years of experience in solving the production aspects of windows and doors and of collaboration with renowned manufacturing companies. A system that can keep the production of every window and door manufacturer one step ahead of the competition.

Advantages and distinguishing features

  • Structural bonding of the insulating glass unit.
    The solutions used in TWT-Stye IV80 Wood windows allow for structural bonding of the glass. The interior side is aesthetically impeccable thanks to the adoption of a gasket that creates an elegant seal. The use of special glues applied in specially created points gives the sash stability and durability.
  • Simple management of two different colours.
    The construction solution for TWT-Style IV80 Wood windows makes it possible to forget the difficulties typically encountered in the production of dual-colour windows and doors. Add to this extremely short coating times and quality that is clearly superior to other common processes.
  • Increased sealing and wind load resistance.
    The glass mounting clip, a fundamental accessory of the TWT-Style IV80 Wood system, allows the glass to be pre-loaded and achieve the ideal compression on the sealing gasket placed internally. The absence of the traditional glazing bead, together with the gluing of the glass, guarantees greater rigidity of the window, making it more resistant to break-ins.
  • Infinite aesthetic combinations.
    The internal side of the window can be coated with totally biocompatible products, enhancing the natural beauty of the wood with the guarantee of an environment free from hazardous substances. The external side can have a lacquered finish, guaranteeing durability and brilliance over time.
  • Easy production and handling of the outer frame.
    The external beading is profiled and recovered from the sash’s outer profile with a passage performed in the machine. It is obtained in the outermost part, where we find the best conditions also using glulam. Thanks to this, it is no longer necessary to produce the glazing bead in the moulding machine. Goodbye to delicate 45° cutting operations.
