From the new Working Process machining centre to TWT tools, directors Danilo Vignotto, Camilla Minutello and Annalisa Buffon explain how targeted investments have enabled minimal profiles, customisation and process control. Davide (Production Manager) highlights the immediate benefits: greater precision, a drastic reduction in waste and defects, and smoother flows.
BM Infissi is a company with over 50 years of history: how would you briefly describe your journey to date and what achievements are you particularly proud of?
Danilo Vignotto: We are particularly proud of the fairness and mutual respect that have always characterised our relationships. Starting with our employees – many of whom have been with us for decades, and in some cases their children have taken over from their fathers – to our customers and suppliers. Continuity in product quality and seriousness in relationships is the achievement that gratifies us the most.
In your opinion, what are the three main strengths that distinguish BM Infissi in the wood and wood-aluminium window and door market?

Annalisa Buffon: I would definitely say our ability to invest in development and research. We have worked hard on product design and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and machinery. This allows us to offer tailor-made and always up-to-date solutions.
Camilla Minutello: I would add two other fundamental elements: our focus on the customer, whom we accompany at every stage with customised solutions, and our strong ties to the local area, which translates into high-quality, artisanal and responsible production, recognised by the companies and retailers who choose to work with us.
In recent years, you have made significant investments in Industry 4.0. What prompted you to take this path and what benefits have you already seen?
Danilo Vignotto: The driving force was our constant desire to improve, paying attention to new customer requests in order to offer ever better products. New technologies allow us to control our processes more precisely, achieve higher quality and also increase staff motivation, as they feel involved and valued. We believe in seizing opportunities and challenges, and for us, Industry 4.0 is just that.
You recently purchased a new machining centre from Working Process equipped with TWT tools. Can you briefly describe this project and what production requirements led you to this choice?

Annalisa Buffon: We needed to work on minimal profiles, ensure strict control of the production phases and achieve greater customisation of the finished product. The new machining centre perfectly meets these requirements.
What aspects of TWT’s proposal convinced you most to adopt their tools for the new machining centre?
Camilla Minutello: The fact that we built the project together, discussing the most suitable solutions for the end result we wanted to achieve. Their ability to listen and customise was decisive.
Following this collaboration with Working Process and TWT, what were the immediate benefits for your production activity? Could you share some practical examples?

Davide – Production Manager: We immediately noticed greater precision in the profiles and a significant reduction in waste and defects. The quality of the result is tangible.
During the collaboration, did you find a particular aspect of the “TWT style” that you appreciated most? If so, what was it?
Danilo Vignotto: Yes, without a doubt, excellent collaboration. The know-how made available to us, targeted and personalised advice. Maintenance is faster and the inserts have above-average durability. This makes the work more fluid and continuous.
Looking at today’s market, what direction do you think the wood and wood-aluminium window and door sector is heading in? What features do customers appreciate most?

Camilla Minutello: Today’s customers are very focused on aesthetics and sustainability. They increasingly rely on architects and technical firms. This is why the market demands highly customisable, technologically advanced products with impeccable finishes. We focus on precise and timely production to always meet market demands.
Your company is characterised by a strong focus on human capital, continuous training and a positive internal climate. How do the technology and innovation of suppliers such as TWT contribute to enhancing the work of your people?
Camilla Minutello: For us, it is essential to value people. Our employees become an active part of change, not just executors. This is how skills, motivation and a sense of belonging grow. The technical collaboration with TWT and their support in the development of new products also have a direct impact on our team: they involve them, stimulate them, train them and make them an active part of the process. We look for suppliers who share these values.
What are your next projects or innovations, perhaps with the technical and technological support of TWT?

Annalisa Buffon: We are working on restyling our lift-and-slide doors. The project is still in the study phase, but we are working on it together with TWT, analysing the design and market needs, with the aim of finding the most efficient and aesthetically distinctive solution.
